Honestly, X translations still need serious improvement, especially for African languages like Hausa.
@xai currently struggles to properly translate Hausa to English because it doesn’t fully understand the original context and expressions behind the language. @nikitabier should seriously look into this issue because Hausa is one of the biggest languages across Africa 🌍
My friend @PIRESIDO of mine said: “Mu nema kawai mu kashe”
The actual meaning was: “Let’s just make money and spend it.”
But xAI translated it as: “I don’t like it, so I killed it.”
That translation completely changes the meaning. In Hausa, that translated version means: “I don’t like it, so I killed it.”
Where did the idea of killing even come from?
This kind of translation issue can create serious misunderstandings on @X and could even put innocent users’ accounts at risk if their words are interpreted wrongly.
xAI needs deeper understanding of Hausa language structure, slang, and cultural expressions before handling translations this way.
GOD HELP US..
